Hello, my name is Shana Thomas, owner of Brio Salon and Spa. My husband and I decided to move to Steamboat Spring in 1997 to enjoy life in this beautiful mountain community and to take advantage of the active lifestyle this town provides. I graduated Cosmetology School in 1991 and had the opportunity to apprentice under an amazing international stylist in Denver who inspired me to become a master in our industry.
I’ve always been motivated to continue my education, and I have worked together with Redken Education to gain the certifications to obtain my dream. I have had the opportunity to attend class at the Redken Exchange in New York City. I am a Certified Redken Specialist, a Certified Redken Authority and ultimately became a Certified Redken Master Colorist. My goal as a stylist is to provide my clients superior, up to date knowledge and experience for all of their hair challenges in a professional, inviting and relaxing environment.

My name is Cathie Webb and I have been styling hair for over 30 years. My passion for skiing and a desire to live in a “real community with a ski area nearby” brought me to Steamboat Springs In 1999. Little did I know how amazing the other seasons are here as well! I am very thankful to be living and raising my two children here!
I love it when my clients come in and tell me they have been looking forward to their visit today, all week, or even all month! I use Redken hair products because of their high quality and I respect the company’s dedication to educating stylists in the use of their product as well as current styling and color trends. I believe in continuing education and strive to attend a few classes each year. Being a stylist for over 30 years, my favorite part of this is learning something that I had forgotten! Trends come and go and past looks are always being modernized for the present.
I will take the time to speak with you about your expectations for your color, cut and style. We will also talk about which hair care products will help you get the most satisfaction from your hairstyle and color on a daily basis. Hi! My name is Miranda Jenny, I am a Master Stylist specializing in blended looks, including balyage, highlights, and baby lights. I have a strong passion for enhancing natural beauty, using quality products and establishing good client relationships to provide a low maintanence look that works with your lifestyle. I strive to provide a relaxing and creative atmosphere where my clients are able to take a break from the daily grind. I have been fortunate enough to channel my artistic nature into a career in hair style, receiving my cosmetology license in 2008 at The Paul Mitchell School, and continuing my education at the prestigious New York Hair Company in Sarissota, Florida. The artist within me has always sought the beauty of the outdoors, so Colorado, especially Steamboat, was an obvious choice to call home.

Hello my name is Stephanie Rodriguez, I am a native to Colorado. We have recently moved to Steamboat from the Highlands Ranch area. My family and I have been visiting more and more over the years and finally made the leap to move up here permanently. Naturally we enjoy all that the Boat has to offer, hiking, biking, camping, water sports, skiing ect. We are looking forward to this new change in our life style.
I have been a Cosmetologist for 20 years and counting. I love making people feel happy, beautiful and inspired. I enjoy learning new tricks of the trade, being inspired by others and sharing some techniques that I have learned along the way. The stylist gene runs deep in my family with my mom, sisters, aunts and even my in-laws. I have worked with many color lines such as Redken, Wella, Schwarzkopf, Aveda, Pulp Riot, & TIGI.
I really enjoy playing with cuts & colors while letting my creativity flow. A good consultation goes a long way, so together we can create a unique fun trendy style that makes you feel amazing. I have been blessed to have worked in some fabulous salons and I am really looking forward to being a part of the team here at Brio. Hi! I am Angela Gayle and have been an esthetician and professional makeup artist for 20 years. I moved to Steamboat Springs 3 years ago from Haleiwa, Hawaii where I owned a small spa and a bridal makeup business. Part of my success as an esthetician, besides my true passion for it, is always working on continuing education and keeping up with the fast changing and forward moving part of the industry. I have also earned many certifications over the years which make my knowledge and experience endless. I have taken countless ongoing education classes in esthetics and have worked with many professional makeup artists in Hawaii. I am a certified health coach and yoga instructor and this knowledge has allowed me to educate clients on how they can achieve healthy glowing skin from the inside out. I also have my certification in aromatherapy. All of this gives me the opportunity to offer clients spa and advanced clinical facials/treatments, holistic skin treatments, waxing, brow lamination, lash lifts, professional makeup and more! I like to make my clients feel comfortable, relaxed, and give you the true spa pampering experience all while achieving results that will make you look and feel great. Whether it be advanced facial techniques, product selection, waxing, bridal or special occasion makeup or that perfect brow shaping, I have acquired the knowledge to ensure my clients have a personalized esthetic experience. I really enjoy educating clients on skin care and ensure that each client has bespoke service. In my spare time I enjoy cross country skiing, hiking, yoga, watercolor painting and art. I love to travel and try to leave the country at least once per year. I am looking forward to seeing you!

Hi! My name is Susie Huffman, and I have been a licensed cosmetologist since 2019 in Arkansas. Steamboat Springs holds a special place in my heart because this is where my parents got married in ‘93! That made it an easy decision for my husband and I to elope here in ‘22!
I currently still reside in Arkansas but will be traveling to the Boat one week a month. During this time I hope to learn and teach all while expanding my business and meeting new people!
I work mainly with lived in colors, natural colors, and I specialize in custom blonding! I am certified in handtied extensions; allowing your hair to have all the length or volume your soul desires! I’m experienced with many brands including but not limited to; Redken, Matrix, Joico, and more.
This industry has allowed my artistry and creativity to flow and blossom. I strive every day to make sure anyone who sits in my chair is able to relax and decompress from the outside world while being pampered. I make sure to keep up with all of the up and coming trends and techniques to ensure I can give my clients exactly what they want. I can’t wait to see you!
